If you love zombie movies, and you'd like a good DVD rental to pass the time in a rainy day, then I can't recommend the remake of Dawn of The Dead enough. This zombie movie has all the elements that you need in your back from the dead brain eaters, and then some. Our chilling tale begins with how the strain of zombie disease infected planet Earth. Some kind of extra terrestrial element has infiltrated the Earth, and this contagion is quickly spreading amongst the unlucky inhabitants of our soon to be doomed planet. This zombie movie has one thing different from all the rest. These zombies can run. Fast. Faster than you. Most other zombie movies have the undead wandering about as if they had all the time in the world, and you could easily sneak up behind them and brain them. Even if the previous version of this movie, now a classic, the zombies were easy enough to kill. Anything you could get your hand on would suffice to bash their zombie skulls in. Not so in this breathtaking remake. These zombies are quick on their feet, so it is all you can do to sprint away as fast as you can. If they happen to catch you off guard, then you can count yourself as a member of the flesh craving zombie club. Our story is mainly focused on a group of people, who, like in the original, take shelter in mall. You have the same inter personal conflicts that you had in the original. The seemingly tough cop who really might not be. The couples where one starts to show signs of becoming a zombie. What do you do? Obviously, the best thing to do would be to kill them right away, but that's not so easy? Are you emotionally strong enough? And just like in the classic original, our small group of survivors learn their hideout is by no means permanent. They need to find transportation, and get away from the quickly growing crowd of zombies who are outside, hungering for their flesh. In an escape worthy of an academy award, our group finds transportation, and gets out of the mall. They hope to make their way to escape by boat, to a safe island, that they hope is free from flesh craving zombies. However, there is a nasty surprise waiting for them there. If you haven't seen this fantastic remake of Dawn of The Dead, you must. Before it's too late.
