It's no surprise that so many people want to look like Cam Gigandet. He has the ideal Hollywood body that so many men are striving to achieve right now. In order to get a body like this you will have to focus on fat loss as well as muscle definition. The fat loss is the most important, because even if you do manage to gain a significant amount of muscle, nobody will be able to tell unless you get rid of the fat that is laying on top of it.

One of the best things that you can do to get rid of fat is cardio. When you take the right approach to cardio workouts you will be able to eliminate that layer so that you can show off the muscles that you have worked so hard to build. That definition that Cam Gigandet has is best achieved through cardio.

When it comes time to determine what type of cardio training you are going to do, you would benefit much more from doing workouts that are high intensity. Most people are aware of the fact that cardio burns a lot of calories. But if you do high intensity cardio workouts, you will effectively increase your resting metabolic rate. What this means is that you will essentially be burning off calories and fat even while you are doing absolutely nothing. Always give yourself at least a day to rest in between your cardio workouts. Ideally, you should do these workouts four days out of the week.

Have you heard about interval training? This is a great high intensity cardio workout to try. You just switch back and forth between jogging for a minute and then running for a minute. You should gradually go faster for each set.

Eating the right food is fuel for your muscles and stimulates growth. You will never know just how much your muscles will grow unless you give them what they need. You have to have plenty of protein, as this is essential for building muscle. Protein helps your muscles through the recovery process. The average person would probably assume that muscles growth occurs during a workout, but it actually happens through the recovery process. Give your body substantial amounts of protein during this time so that your muscles can reach their fullest potential.

You are also going to have to do some weight lifting to get your muscles where you want them to be. The best way to work on muscle definition is to use a lower amount of weight and increase the amount of reps that you do in each set. Remember to focus on lowering the weight down in a slow and controlled movement so that your muscles get the most out of the exercise. Also, try to include compound exercises that work more than one muscle group at once, like squats or bench press exercises. This will make your workouts much more effective. You can get results like Cam Gigandet, just stay committed and use these tips to help you along the way.
