Keeping beauty salon air healthy is a big concern for staff and clients who are concerned, and rightly so, about the short and long term effects these fumes can have on their health. An air purifier really shouldn't have to kill for a breath of fresh air. Uses HEPA Technology---High efficiency particle arresting filters are the same type that hospitals use to insure clean air. They can easily eliminate particles as tiny as.3 microns in size. The good news is that it will remove not only salon-specific particles such as hair and nail shavings, but will also remove more common indoor particles such as dust, mold and mildew spores, seasonal pollens, bacteria and viruses. Contains a Carbon Filter---If gases, odors, and airborne chemicals are to be removed effectively, your unit has to contain carbon.. Carbon is well known for its ability to absorb these pollutants. And with an additive that enhances the carbon's ability to eliminate chemicals it is incredibly effective against removing VOCs that off gas from perms, nail polish and remover, acrylics, hardeners, and dyes.
