Because it is an accepted reality that workers are the most vital resource in every business, it is essential then at company formation to do it correctly. You start by setting up a good basis. Establish a work culture and interpersonal relationships that will act as a reference for all new employees. A code of principles and policies that will be followed by everyone, setting standards that will be part of the company culture. The next step for an organization that has recently finished company formation is to create an inspiration plan. Motivation is varied and ultimately brings out the best in individuals. It improves on efficiency and out put of employees. Unfortunately most people wrongly think that motivation is about remuneration. Motivation is a multifaceted concept that includes remuneration, promotions, work environment and general employee improvement program. Remuneration should be based on the skills held by the individual, experience on the job, responsibilities held and general productivity levels. Promotions are a potentially contentious matter. While some experts feel that highly productive employees should be promoted and given more responsibility, others think that this could be counterproductive. Those against direct promotions think that individuals who excel and are highly productive must be good at what they do and also enjoy doing it. Hence, moving them may have them be given jobs that they are not conversant with and also some that they may not like. As a result promotions should be approached cautiously to make sure they do not lead to lesser output in workers. Workers should feel that the work location is secure, easy and compliant. The security requirement can never be reinstated with good payment and benefits. To contain the different needs of staffs, make sure that the work atmosphere observes and puts safety standards, is clean and have diverse adaptive measures like rumps and lifts in place. Employee improvement programs will include on-the-job training, seminars and welfare programs that will improve their lives even beyond the office. Staffs will have higher productivity if they feel treasured and think that their employer is going an additional mile to guarantee that they become better persons. Staff loyalty is also advanced by similar courses.
