If you'd love to impress your friends with your psychic abilities, then you've come to the right place. In this article you'll learn how to use some basic principles of NLP to seemingly read somebody's mind. It's easy, quick, and doesn't require any special skills. The first step is to calibrate your target. Calibration is a term that simply means to pay attention to somebody's body language or facial expressions when they are saying something that you know is either true or false, or if they are thinking of specific person. Basically it means asking them a question, and then matching up their answers with their facial expressions and body language. The Police use this when they interrogate people. For example, get them to say something that you know is not true, and watch where their eyes go. Pay attention to where they look when they lie. Next ask a question that you are pretty sure will elicit a truthful answer, and watch their eyes. Chances are they will go to two different places, one when they tell the truth, and one when they tell a lie. As a general rule, people will look up and to the right when telling the truth, and up and to the left when lying. But be sure to calibrate them, as not all people are the same. Now that you've got them "calibrated," you can begin asking them questions, and tell them you can read their mind and know if they are telling the truth or lying. Even if you miss a couple, you'll be much higher than fifty percent, which will astound most people. Many people use this within a relationship, but I'll leave that up to you to decide. Another trick is to get them to think of two different people. It's much easier if one of the person they think of is somebody that don't like very much, and the other is somebody they do like quite a bit. Just by watching their facial expressions, you'll know precisely what's on their mind. Then just ask them simple questions, like "Who is taller?" or "Who did you meet first?" or other simple ones. Then you can easily tell who they are thinking of based on their facial expressions. This trick works best with people that you are already friends with, as when we first meet people, we tend to keep our unconscious facial expressions somewhat guarded, so people can be a little hard to read at first. This is a fantastic party trick to use with your friends, and it will quickly make you the most popular person at any party.
