You don't want to over react, you want to have proof that something is going on before you confront him. And technology makes it all the more possible. So you grab the cellphone when he's not around and search frantically, but all his text messages are deleted, again. Without the proof you can accuse him and he can deny it, or you can just go on pretending it isn't happening. Or you can find a way to recover those deleted texts. Of course, if you are married to someone and have children and a life with them, just giving up is not going to be an option, and pretending it isn't happening is just going to lead to a worse situation down the road. Have them undelete those deleted messages and get the information you need to put your mind and heart at ease, and get yourself the needed proof.
