This is true even when they have had complaints. They figure that all the companies are alike, and they will not gain anything by shopping around. Here is the short answer! The real thing you need to ask, of course, is how can you find the best policy for yourself. This may seem complicated, but it is not that hard to compare insurance quotes today. This is a very convenient way to get your policy shopping done too. What should you look for when you shop for auto coverage? Of course, you will want to find an affordable and competitively priced policy. Some drivers will be cheaper to insure than others, but the choice of which company you use can make a big difference in the price. For example, some insurers never give their lowest rates to people who have poor credit scores. This is true even if they are very good drivers with no traffic tickets. If you have had credit problems, but a good driving history, this may not seem fair. Obviously, you have to find the company that will consider the fact you are a good driver.
