Graduation time is right around the corner. Whether it be for a high school or college graduate, you want to celebrate this wonderful occasion by throwing a party. It's nice to have friends and family gather around for such a momentous day. You'll get the invitations out and the food catered, but you need to have the proper set up for guests. From tabletop accessories to cake stands, you'll need to have that spread looking amazing.

First you'll want to think about keeping within the graduation theme. There are plenty of tabletop accessories that will work for you and look great on the dining table. You can get napkin rings that have graduation caps on them, or tie them yourself with tassels, much like the ones on caps. A great idea for a centerpiece maybe photo albums with pictures of the graduate from young to older, so people can admire how they've really grown up from their time as a child to an adult. It is, after all, all about them and their achievements!

To make clean up easier, it's good to stay away from regular dishware. Think paper plates and disposable utensils. You can easily find plates that have a graduation theme printed on them. Have a flatware caddy easily accessible for the plastic forks and knives so guests can grab their own without having to wait. Keep these on the same table as the food to make everything flow well.

While you may forgo cooking yourself and have something catered, you'll want to provide refreshments. Beverage dispensers are important here. A beautiful dispenser can sit nicely amongst the food, serving in itself as a centerpiece for the buffet table. Make sure you have enough for everyone, so invest in either a larger beverage dispenser or several to handle all your guests.

For dessert, a glass cake stand would look beautiful set on a table for gifts. Have guests places their cards and wrapped presents around the stand, If you get a three tiered glass cake stand you can have an assortment of choices. Have one for cake, another for cookies and another for other options, like brownies or rugula. Always keep in mind ways to make the process of both serving your guests and cleaning up easy while choosing your tabletop accessories. With a great layout, people will be talking about how beautiful a party it was and your graduate is going to feel truly honored by the experience!
