Hardly anyone would argue the statement "Apple is the brand of the 21st Century". The way its devices have become cultural icons and consumer must-haves, makes it hard to do so. The owners of those devices cannot imagine their lives without them and anxiously wait for each iteration or new feature. Any malfunction or damage discovered on these gadgets can send its owner into utter despair. Luckily enough, technicians have kept up with the times and phone repair or iPhone Repair services are not difficult to find. Of course, you do not want anything to go wrong with your iPhone. You do not want to have to find a place to repair it. Here are some precautionary measures you can take to avoid that dreaded action: * Purchase and use a case for your device. It will reduce the amount of surface dirt that comes into contact with the gadget. It also prevents oily fingerprints. * Prevent damage to the touch screen by not using cleansers with alcohol, ammonia or other abrasive ingredients. * Maintain the phone dry. Do not submerge it in water or use it in extremely wet places. Avoid having it exposed to rain or snow. Moisture can damage the device. * Protect your phone from direct sun light and don't leave it in overheated areas, such as a parked car or a stovetop. The heat could seriously damage the battery. * Keep the phone level and avoid serious shaking. The internal circuitry might be affected or damaged. * Avoid magnets, since these can have an adverse effect on your device. * Reboot your phone once or twice a week to keep its operating system in working order. * Let the battery run out once or twice a month in order to extend its overall life. It's not easy to replace, so you want to take care of it. Even though a swift repair is not hard to come by, you want to take good care of your phone in order to prevent the difficulty of being without it for a couple of days. The most basic of maintenance tasks is usually the most overlooked; cleaning. If you want your gadget to have a long, uneventful shelf life, you will want to regularly remove unwanted particles from its surface. It is not that hard to do. If you follow these steps, you will have no problem keeping your gadget clean: * Disconnect all cables. * Turn the device off. * Moisten lightly the corner of a soft microfiber cloth. If possible, use distilled water. It has fewer impurities. * Wipe the gadget's screen with the moist cloth in an up and down motion. * Remove the remaining moisture from your phone with the dry portion of the microfiber cloth. * Clean the speaker and microphone cavities with a soft tooth brush. * The old adage "Better safe than sorry" definitely applies here. Take good care of your phone and you would not have to resort to repairing it. It will be at your fingertips.
