An implant made to replace just one tooth is made up of three parts: the titanium implant, an abutment which fits over whatever portion of the tooth is showing above the gum line and the crown which fits over the abutment and gives the appearance of a real tooth. It does not matter how old or young you are, or even how many of your teeth need to be replaced; an implant is likely the best way to go about fixing these oral issues.
