Is purchasing a timeshare rental a good idea? Many people must think so because even in the current economy timeshares remain popular. Is buying a timeshare a good idea for you? Many of these websites are not affiliated in any way with any resort; it simply provides a means for the rental and resale of timeshare buyers and vacationers to interact without charging a membership fee or an up-front fee. There are numerous popular vacations sites with timeshare available for rent or sale on these websites including, but not limited to, popular vacation locations in the United States and other countries. So how does this work? This is a self-service classified ad website. First, you register with the website at no charge and place your ad to rent or sell your timeshare. When you get an offer associated with your ad, the company charges you a fee of $4.95 to follow up on the lead and contact the interested timeshare renter or buyer. In order to ensure that only truly interested buyers and vacations contact you, the website limits the ability to contact no more than three owners at one time. That way you are not getting a number of people that are not truly interested contacting you.
