HTC Cell Phones: A Very High Tech Smartphone Indeed

[Valid RSS feed]  Category Rss Feed - http://www.articlesbacklink.com/rss.php?rss=32
By : Paul Wise

HTC Cell Phones has continued its strong forward progression in the field of smart phone development with their newest member, the HTC Smart. Hah, what a well named phone, don't you think? Yes, HTC Cell Phones is one of the first phones to break up the monopoly that was Blackberry and iPhone on the smartphone market. They did it through smart advertising and quality alternatives to the other two phones. And now they have yet another smartphone that can rival any smartphones available today.

The HTC Smart comes with HTC Sense technology allowing for an intuitive user experience. The Sense technology focuses on three core mobile areas; Make it Mine, Stay Close and Discover the Unexpected. With these three things the phone is easily and quickly personalized and allows for quick inside friends activities on social networking sites including Facebook and Myspace, all through text messaging and email. In addition, The HTC Smart features Scenes which allows the user to pick a scene to set the mood for the current situation, for example the upcoming weekend or a special occasion, say, a wedding.

Under the more exclusive features for this phone are the more standard features. These include a 3 megapixel camera with a flashlight and a fixed focus as well as audio and visual playback capabilities and a microSD memory card slot. It allows for up to 450 minutes of talk time and up to 600 hours of standby time.

It seems as though HTC has a real knack for the smartphone game and because of that there is no reason for them to not continue down that path. It is a sleek looking phone unlike the iPhone but its feature set is clearly different. What sets this phone apart may be subtle qualities but ones that are still clearly discernable even for those luddites out there.

What's truly great about the HTC Smart and the HTC company as a whole is that these devices are progressing quickly and keeping the industry competitive. They are making a consumers market where there are so many choices that consumers from any demographic can find a cell phone that fits their needs. Furthermore all this healthy competition may just drive prices down again having the consumers win. Whatever the case may be, it's a time when we ought to embrace this technology without having it run our lives. And that is certainly possible so long as we remember that we are the inventors of the technology and not the other way around.
