One way to make money on the Internet is to promote your website with article marketing. People have successfully been doing this for over 10 years now. However, many people are not as successful marketing online with articles as others are. In this article let's talk about 4 ways you can make more money writing and submitting articles. 1. Target needs. The Internet is a great source for information. Consumers have needs they want information on and articles are an excellent way to address those needs. Create a large keyword list relating to all of the words people would be searching for online. Traffic Travis has a free software you can download and develop keyword lists of up to 200 words. Use these keywords in your title and in the body of the article to specifically target the needs your customer will be searching for. This will help your articles rank higher on the search engines and drive traffic to your website. 2. Volume. Most people simply do not write enough articles to benefit from them. I recently saw where someone was complaining in a discussion forum that they had written 3 articles and had not gotten any traffic from those. When you look at the top authors on some of the largest article directories you will see that these people have written hundreds or thousands of articles. The more articles you write the more traffic you will get from them. Plain and simple! Remember every article you write gets to have a resource box at the bottom of it that contains a link to your website. If you want to develop more website traffic, and ultimately make more money from article marketing, you need to write more articles. You must do that, or you must hire an article writer to do it for you. 3. Write quality with less words. Most article directories are looking for articles that have at least 400 words in them. You can still write a lot of articles and keep quality in them if you target that as the number of words you write. Doing this will also help you keep more focused and not ramble which detracts from the effectiveness of the article. 4. No sales allowed. Article directories are not going to allow you to promote specific products in the body of your article. However, this does not mean you cannot write about a targeted theme that relates to the products you sell. It is very easy to write articles around a specific theme without promoting your products in the article. Your resource box is where you get to do that in the form of a short classified ad. These are 4 ways to make more money from article marketing. Ultimately it comes down to the quality and volume of articles you write.
