Article Marketing Strategy: The "Famous Quotations" Article Template

[Valid RSS feed]  Category Rss Feed - http://www.articlesbacklink.com/rss.php?rss=94
By : Steve Shaw

Do you ever get tired of writing the same types of articles each month? Do you ever feel like you’ve written on your topic in every way that you possibly can and are just stumped for a new creative idea that will inspire you and get your excitement level back up again?

Anyone who has been doing article marketing for any length of time eventually ends up in this predicament.

The good news is that it’s just a matter of turning your thinking around and throwing some unusual elements into your otherwise predictable routine.

I encourage you to give this article template a try-- I guarantee that it will shake up your familiar routine and stimulate your creativity. On top of that, it’ll be fun!

I’m calling this the “Famous Quotations” article template. It involves doing a little research (the fun type!) into famous quotes from historical figures, sports personalities or any popular icon that you admire. Then you use those selected quotes and find a way to make them relevant to your field.

One of my favorite examples of this approach is “The Mark Twain Guide To Blogging” by Copyblogger. Now, I know what you’re thinking--how do Mark Twain and blogging go together?

Well, that’s the fun and creative part. The writer simply selected quotations from Mark Twain and then wrote a paragraph under each quote relating Mark Twain’s quotes to blogging.

For example, the Twain quote “Great people make us feel we can become great” was used to advise bloggers to write with the needs of their readers in mind, with the intention of teaching them things that would improve their lives and make them better (or great).

Now, you’ve probably realized that the advise based on that quote could be tweaked to become appropriate to just about any topic, not just blogging. You see what I mean? Dig up some of your favorite quotes and then under each quote offer some advise related to the quote that would apply to your target market.

Alright, here are the steps for this template:

1 - Go to any site that offers quotes from famous people (just do a Google search for “famous quotes”)

2 - Or, maybe you already have a personal hero or some favorite quotes already in mind. Do some research to find several quotes from that person that you can use in your article.

Another approach is to assemble quotes from different people who all have something in common (American Presidents, Olympic athletes, comedians, etc).

Look for quotes that convey ideals, advise, wisdom, or observations that can somehow be applied to your niche.

3 - Settle on 5 or so quotes to address in your article.

4 - Write a paragraph or so on how each quote relates to your niche.

5 - Don’t forget to write an introductory paragraph that introduces your historical figure and why you think that he/she/ would have had great advise to offer to the people in your niche. For example, why would Helen Keller have made a wonderful small business owner? Why would Winston Churchill have made a great real estate agent?

6 - Include a short concluding paragraph to wrap things up.

7 - Write a title that couples the famous person’s name with your topic:

The [famous person’s name]’s Guide To [Your Subject]

Conclusion:

I know that this article template is a bit unusual, but that is why it is so inspiring. So often we get into the habit of thinking of our topic from one direction--it is like a breath of fresh air to totally turn your thinking upside down and approach your subject from an angle you’ve never considered before.

Here’s another perk--As interesting as it is for you, so it will be for your readers. Imagine the attention your title will get when being viewed in a long list of articles on similar topics.

You can write on something unexpected and creative and still write on your niche. What do you say--will you try this?
