If you have a problem with bed bugs in your home, you need to hire a pest control company. Bed bugs are difficult to get out of your home you need to hire professionals that are familiar with the type of extermination and chemicals required to remove them permanently. Before hiring a pest control company, check to make sure they have a good reputation, getting a reference from past clients is really the best type of reference. You can ask your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members if they have hired and been satisfied with the work done by a local pest control company.

Unfortunately, there is worldwide bed bug problem. If you travel a great deal or if you have a child that lives in a college dorm, you are no doubt aware of these infestation problems. These little buggers are jumping in the luggage and stowing away to a new location. These parasites are difficult to find and even more difficult to eradicate once they move in. The best way to get rid of them in your home is to hire a professional exterminator immediately! Bed bug infestation can move very quickly, a female bed bug can lay up to 300 eggs that hatch within 10 days.

It is a small, wingless insect that is typically brown in color and they look quite a bit like a tick. Since bed bugs themselves are often not seen, the main clue that you have a bed bug problem is being bitten. A typical sign of a bite is a small, white welt that forms at the bite area which is the main source of nutrition for this parasite, blood so if they are in your home you will be bitten.

Another clue that you have this problem in your home is the discovery of a crushed bed bug or a bed bug's fecal matter. These appear as a small dot of block or a tiny black speck on your mattress or other furniture. These parasites prefer wood and fabric instead of metal or plastic, and tend to reside in the most lived-in areas of a home such as a living/family room or bedrooms.

If you are just not sure you have an infestation but are really concerned that you do; some professional pest control companies will come and inspect your home. Some local pest control companies will offer this inspection for free, others will charge a fee. You can schedule an appointment for an exterminator to come to your house for an inspection.

When you hire a pest control company, ask the technicians the type of chemical products they will be using in your home and what safety measures they recommend for house pets and people living in the home especially children or adults with allergies or breathing issues. Discuss if possible follow up treatments will be required to rid your home of pets and if so how often should these treatments be done. Closely review the satisfaction policy of the pest control company to prevent any misunderstandings.
