One of the best things you can do to promote your business is advertise online. It is cost effective and will help you reach more potential customers and increase your earnings faster as well. I personally have found these 4 internet marketing methods to be the best for my own Internet business. 1. Using article marketing. This is one of the most effective marketing tools online today. Writing and submitting articles is a great way to get targeted visitors to your business website, increase backlinks, increase page rank, and establish yourself as an expert on the Internet. Article marketing is free, but you will have to spend time writing articles and submitting them to online directories such as Article Base and Idea Marketers. Use Submit Your Article to reach more directories at a time. You can also outsource your writing to a freelance article writer. To save you a lot of time you can use an article marketing company. 2. Pay per click advertising. This is where you publish ads on search engines using ppc ads such as Google Adwords and Yahoo Marketing to get visitors to your website. This is great for immediate traffic. You pay for every click you get on the ads, but you control how much you spend each month and can make adjustments to your ads and budget at anytime. 3. Forum posts. If you like to talk with potential customers online you can interact with them in discussion forums and market your business as well. The Warrior Forum is great for this. Share your expertise by participating in the discussions. Set up your signature file to include your website URL and a little bit about yourself of company. When you make a post it will build backlinks to your site and the reader can get more information by clicking on your URL. 4. Build your list. This is something you should be doing in all of your marketing and on all of your web pages. Every successful Internet business does it. Use an opt-in form on your website to get the name and email address of your visitor. You should also market a splash page and not just promote your website home page all of the time. Doing this will require you to get a splash page built and set up a website url for it. These are 4 Internet marketing strategies that work. Doing all of these will help you get more visitors to your website in a variety of ways. Over time you will build up a good set of backlinks that keep driving traffic even when you are no longer working at it.
