This is how it works:

- My wife and I get our children ready for nursery and school in the morning. My wife goes off to work and I take the kids to school.

- I'm back in the house for 08.45 and at 09.00 I begin my work. I work for 3 hours and then collect my youngest daughter from nursery at midday. I then spend a couple of hours with her and do a couple of jobs around the house. At 15.00 we pick up my oldest daughter from school together.

- The three of us do something nice together or go home and I get on with a few jobs or start preparing the evening meal while the kids entertain each other. Mama comes home, we eat our meal, Mama puts the kids to bed, I sort out the washing up and at around 19.00 I start working again.

- I finish at around 23.00 and chill for an hour. I almost never work on a weekend. This is family time although unfortunately, sometimes there is some housework to catch up on.

Because I have this well-established daily routine I am able to commit a minimum of 30 hours per week to my online affiliate programs and my business is growing very nicely.

When I first started working from home it was very easy to get distracted. It's really nice to be at home in that comfortable environment but it did take me a while to develop a routine that would allow me to spend enough time on promoting my business.

Once you settle in to a routine and start to see results for your efforts, motivation will not be a problem. In fact you will have to be more self disciplined and make sure you log off at a reasonable time and get a good nights sleep. What's the point of working hard to build a successful home business and improve your life if you have worn yourself out doing it?

If you can develop a routine that allows you to work around 30 hours a week you will be doing much more than 99% of the people out there who are trying to succeed with online affiliate programs.
