You are sure to find a long list of restaurants located in the vicinity which offer to host functions. If you visit some of their websites or read up about them on the internet, you can easily zero in on five locations from which the final choice will be made. From the shortlist you've prepared, call the restaurants and find out about the place. You could also visit the place, if it's near enough, to make sure whether it will be able to accommodate the number of guests you intend to call. Also enquire about the rates. Speaking to the organizers is also an absolute must. - Word of Mouth: If you want a true account of the advantages and disadvantages of a particular location, the best way is to ask an acquaintance who knows and has visited the restaurant. Any business, in this case, a restaurant, will promote themselves as the best location in town, but it is only through a customer that you will be able to extract the pros and cons involved. Chances are that you won't be wrongly informed. - Booking the Right Restaurant: The first thing to do when you book the restaurant is to inquire about the prices. If the prices are too high, you'll have to cut down on other detail; which is why it's best to have a frank discussion with the organizers before the event, so that they can guide you on the options within your stipulated budget. You might want live music at your party, in which case it's best to book a location which has an entertainment area, rather than having to ask for a makeshift one. Special occasions need to be celebrated in a special way, and what's better than celebrating at your loved one's favorite restaurant.
