Today there are so many mobile devices to choose from. There are a number of cellular Accessories as well. There are smart phones, camera phones, video phones, music phones, phones with internet capabilities, phones compatible with LG accessories and a whole slew of other features. Believe it or not though there are still some of us out there that just need a cell phone for its original purpose: making phone calls! If you fall into this now bizarre group of people, fear not. There are still many basic cell phones available on the market and you don't have to get the phone with the most features if you don't need or want it. Plus many have cellular accessories if you wish to make small upgrades. Here's a list of some of the best, basic cell phones on the market today.

Motorola i335 - This phone has the sleek candy bar body, making it much less bulky in than previous models, yet it remains quite durable. This phone does not have a camera but it has all the Nextel push-to-talk capabilities. Very basic, but if basic is all you need, then this is a great phone.

Samsung Knack SCH-U310 - This phone does not sell itself out to all the flashy features available on today's market. Rather it sticks to great phone call quality and includes standard features like voice dialing. It also features up to 270 minute talk time. No features on here that will blow your friends away, but it will give you reliable call quality every day. And you can get tons of cellular accessories with it.

LG Flare LX175 - This is a basic flip phone that features voice dialing, speakerphone and Bluetooth capable. This design is not going to grab anyone's attention but it is a slim, compact phone. This phone features great LG accessories, too!

Nokia 2610 - This is an exceptional basic phone largely because it is user friendly and it has a tremendous battery life. This is an very basic phone in look and features. But the call quality is strong and the phone is compact, perfect for pockets and purses.

Sometimes less is more. It can be hard to see that sometimes with all the incredible gadgets on the market today. But honestly, if you need a phone to make phones and nothing more, why make this issue more complicated. There are still plenty of quality cell phones that feature only the basics out there and having one is fine. You'll get better battery life and better call quality with a basic phone because those technologies aren't lost in the thousands of other features crammed into the phone. So if it's all about making calls then look no further than the phones above!
