Is it realistic to think you can make money online without spending any? I think this is a valid question and one you should consider before you determine how you are going to go about using the Internet to earn money. There are many programs you can join for free and start making money online without spending a thing. For example you can get paid to read emails and join these type of programs for free. You get paid to read the email message sent to your inbox. You can also access the member's area and read them that way. The same thing is true for getting paid to take online surveys. There are many survey sites you can join for free and earn money every time you take a survey. You will not spend anything to do these types of programs. The exception will be the amount of time you spend for the little income you get back in return. For example reading an email might pay you .02 cents and take you 30 seconds to 1 minute to complete. Doing an online survey could take as long as 15 minutes and pay you $.50 to $1 dollar. As you can see you are not going to make much money by the hour, but you get to do it at home which is nice. All of these programs have referral programs where you can increase the amount of money you make signing up new members. I remember seeing an ad once inviting me to download a report on free and nearly free ways to advertise on the Internet. There is no doubt if you are going to make money selling products you will need to promote them in some way. For example, affiliate marketing doesn't cost anything to join and you get free websites and marketing materials to promote. You can learn free advertising methods such as social marketing to help drive traffic to your site. The trade-off on free, or nearly free advertising, is you will invest more of your time to see results. This is also true as you work at developing skills to become a better Internet marketer. People with money certainly have an advantage because they can drive traffic to their websites faster. They can also outsource things that they don't like to do such as website design, setting up a blog, article marketing, and so on. People who have some money in their marketing budget can also do ppc advertising. They can be on page 1 of the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, or Bing in as little as a few minutes after their campaign is started. This gives them an advantage in getting started making money faster. These are a few ideas you will need to consider when you ask the question do you have enough money to make money online! If you are willing to invest time, and not money, you can ultimately achieve the same results, but it will take you longer.
