Doing magic tricks is always a fun and entertaining endeavor, whether you're performing for a packed house in front of live TV camera's or in front of a few kids at a birthday party. Something about successfully pulling off a magic trick never fails to impress most everybody. This is a quick and easy trick and depending on your acting skills, you will be able to convince people that you have powerful psychic abilities. There are a couple variations, and you will likely be able to add your own unique qualities to this simple tricks. This is a basic "hold something behind your back and I'll guess what hand it's in" kind of trick. If you just simply perform the trick, it will only take a few seconds. Of course, the more you ham this up with over the top acting, the better reaction you'll get from any crowd. Here's the trick: Have them grab an object, the smaller the better. Tell them to place it in either hand. When you turn and look the other way, have them raise the hand with the object to their forehead, or temple, and psychically project to you its location. At the same time, have the clench their fist behind their back. Once they've spent enough time sending you the mental energy, have them hold both fists out, one containing the object, and one not. The reason it's better to use a smaller object is so they don't suspect you can tell which fist contains the object by the size of the fists. After you painstakingly decipher their psychic signals, you will correctly guess which is the correct hand. For added benefit, you can have them place the object on a table, and tell them which had contained the object. This will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt your powerful psychic abilities. The way to do this trick is simple. The longer they hold their fist up to their forehead (while sending you mental energy) the blood will drain out of their hand, more so than their other hand. Whichever hand they raised to their head, it will be a little bit paler than the other hand. This works especially well if you have them place the object on a table, so when you inspect their hands, neither of them contain anything. Just like any other trick, the more you add your own personality and over the top acting into this, the more fun you can have.
