By : LeStarzia    Our minds are geared to learn with visual. That is why it is frustrating to learn Microsoft Excel from a wordy instruction manual or tutorial. Authors want to talk. Creators of Microsoft Excel books love to talk and talk and talk.

If the book is written for a ten year old to comprehend by using pictures, then the sophisticated adult mind will be able to quickly glide through the pages, comprehending effortlessly all you need to know about Microsoft Excel to be a master.

Searching for the right book can be frustrating, intimidating or difficult. But if you were to pick one up that is filled with pictures you will know in an instant that this Excel instruction book will work for you because your mind will grasp it without the experience of a painful process.

What takes disciple will push us into being lazy. We get things done if it is effortless. That is why a book about how to use Microsoft Excel filled with pictures and illustrations makes learning easy, fascinating, empowering and effortless.

Studies have shown that the mind works with illustrations and pictures. Everything the mind holds and grasps is first converted into pictures. Pictures and illustrations are the language of the subconscious. Many of us think that in the learning process, pictures belong to children. Once again, our minds don't know our age.

To our minds we are all the same age. Inside we have no age. Our language never changes throughout our lives and yet we think it does. We come up with ways of speaking and methods of communicating that are so different from culture to culture but underneath it all we are of the same language, the language of pictures.

In our dreams we see visions and illustrations. They are there to teach us. We learn from pictures. It is our way of learning.

Microsoft Excel was created for the purpose of quite a few things. First it was created for accounting purposes because you can crunch numbers so easily. Adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and much more. It was built so that by changing one number, it automatically changes the total or sum.

You can create graphs, mailing lists (which can merge into the Microsoft Word Document for printing), beautiful layouts to organize your business with. You can also write code (Visual Basic) to enhance the performance of your worksheet. You can also use it to create invoices and some graphics.

Companies use it to track time clocks for their employees. It is a database that is so easy to use. It comes with rows and columns (to see examples click on the link at the bottom of this article). These rows and columns create cells and it is in each cell that numbers and words are inserts. Each cell has it's own name. For example each column is alphabetized starting with A. Each row is numbered. Therefore you can go to cell B3. B3 is column B, row 3.

You can enter a number in B1, B2, B3 and then in B4 you can actually create what is called a cell formula that adds up those three cells. If you were to type in B4 =sum(B1:B3) and press enter, B4 would show the result of B1 plus B2 plus B3. If you change any of those numbers then B4 will automatically show a different result.
