For those of you that have ever used a vending machine and think it only comprises of options for regular old snack vending machines and soda vending machine - you are dead wrong my friend! After doing a little compiling, I have come up with the TOP, most incredible, most ingenious, and most (could be) profitable machines ever. Some of these are located in the US, although most are located and were invented in other countries. Let's take a look!
- Out goes regular snack vending machines, in comes healthy eating vending machines. I've been saying for YEARS that vending machine manufacturer companies that make these machines should make refrigerated options for veggies, dips, soy products, sushi, salads, etc. Finally, someone decided to wise up - and now they do carry options like the ones listed above in addition to yogurt, health bars, juices, and various types of peanuts. This is awesome because over the years, while obesity has grown, the number of "heart healthy" eaters has grown as well. We're not as unhealthy as we once were and take more opportunities TO eat right.
- Thought drink vending machines and soda vending machines ended with "soda" and water? You were wrong! A company in Germany has decided to start selling glasses of wine and bottles of wine through a vending machine manufacturer. Frankly, I don't really understand how this works, but I assume that you slide your license under a "scanner" and it reads it to make sure you are over the legal drinking age. However, if you think about it, this could easily be falsified. All you need is someone's license. Now add in an Iris Scanner and then we'll talk. In the meantime, you are going to have to visit Germany to have any part in this wine industry!
- I've actually never seen one of these, but I plan on buying one once I figure out how much they are, kidding! It's an Ice Cream vending machine. It has all the popular ice cream that we all know and love such as Ben & Jerry's, Baskin-Robbins, Breyer's, Dippin' Dots, and the ever popular Ice Cream truck favorite - Good Humor. It's actually a really simple process involving a box like freezer with glass protecting the ice cream. Inside are 50+ options and a giant black vacuum hose. When you press what number you want, the hose instinctively goes to that number of the ice cream, sucks it up with the vacuum and splits it down the shoot. Yum!
- Last on the list is one of my personal favorites, I'm not sure how well this would work, but it does seem like a pretty funny invention as far as snack vending machines go - it's the lobster and eggs vending machine. Yes, this is real, I promise! This can be found in Japan from two major vending machine manufacturer businesses. You can find these in offices, doctors office waiting rooms, and even on streets in Japan. This is really strange, and yet for some reason I'm very intrigued about the actual lobsters. Are they really fresh? Are they good tasting? And most important of all, what is the Market value price?
Among being a person that can USE these vending machines, you also could consider getting into the business yourself and coming up with some of your own wacky ideas by looking for vending machines on sale. This is becoming one of the most sought after Industries in the country, and it's no wonder when you can sell things like ice cream and lobster or jeans and cell phones or candy and soda. I think a lot of people like getting into the vending machine business because apparently there is no wrong or right way to do this, and there is no wrong or right product to sell!
