If you struggle with anxiety, then I can understand why you would want to cure panic attacks! They are such an awful thing to go through and even if you've had lots before, they just don't seem to get easier. Thankfully, it is possible to cure panic attacks if you take action and follow the right plan. Let's have a look. First off, I want you to know that you are perfectly normal. There are millions of people that struggle with anxiety and panic and each one of these people have felt as though something must be horribly wrong with them. The truth is, the symptoms you feel during a panic attack aren't a sign that something is wrong with you - you are completely fine and will get through it! The key is making it your goal to overcome the anxiety and cure panic attacks for good. And as hard it may seem, it is entirely possible. The first step is to accept that you have anxiety and that it is responsible for the symptoms you feel. You aren't having a heart attack, you aren't going insane, you aren't going to stop breathing - it's just anxiety! Your body produces these symptoms from going into what is known as the "fight or flight" response, something which is activated by the body when it thinks it is in danger. Unfortunately for anxiety sufferers, they perceive situations as dangerous even when they aren't and this response is activated. You must accept your symptoms as anxiety and take comfort in the fact that they can't hurt you! No one has actually died from a panic attack - it's not a dangerous thing. When you feel those symptoms, you must understand that you're not in any form of danger. Remember, just like every other time, you're going to be fine! The next time you feel one coming on, resist the temptation to worry that something is wrong with you. Instead, tell yourself that it's just anxiety and even "speak" to the anxiety. Tell it that you know you're fine and ask it to give you more! I know that might sound silly, but it works! You need to gain control of your anxiety, not the other way around. And by challenging it to give you all it has, while knowing that what you're feeling is only temporary and that you're in no danger, you will be able to cure panic attacks.
