For example, on toy that has been around for what seems like a lifetime is the Barbie Doll. She is known by everyone even if you do not have children you probably know who she is. She started out alone and then Ken came along to be with her. She has her own house and even a car that she can drive around as well to go to the beach.

Another toy that you are going to find that seems to have made a name for it is the Cabbage Patch Kids. They started out with just a few and then they grew into an entire family. If you were lucky enough to get one of these original famous toys, they have become a collector's item and you could sell it for a lot of money. Of course, there are many more of them now and your children will have a wonderful time playing with them in a pretend world. There are boys and girls so there is something for all children.

When you are looking at toys for the outdoors, you may want to consider the Frisbee. This toy started out as something that was just fun for people to throw around and enjoy themselves. But, as time went on, it became one of the famous toys that dog owners now use to play catch with man's best friend and kids to adults use to play with at the park and the beach. It is a great summertime past time and everyone can enjoy playing Frisbee no matter where they live or where they are.

If you are looking for something that you can be creative with then you may want to take a look at crayons. Believe it or not, these are actually famous toys. They have been around since 1903 and came in basic colors of black brown, blue, red, purple yellow, orange and green. Of course today there are variations of the crayon and they come in many different colors and you can create pretty pictures with them or beautiful art. There are even ones that you can get today that will wash off of the walls or your furniture so there is no mess left behind.

Naturally you do not want to leave out some of the other famous toys that you can still find today and that are a lot of fun. These would include the erector set, the Chia Pet, etch-a-sketch, hacky sack and even the Furby. Of course, you cannot forget about balloons and the boomerang as well. These are all toys that kids loved to play with when they were first invented and they are still a lot of fun for kids and adults today. You are bound to find something that you are going to enjoy playing with and your kids will as well.
