The Most Popular Verizon Cell Phones

Verizon Cell Phones come from a variety of brands and makes. Because of this, shopping can be overwhelming for many consumers. Here is a list along with descriptions of some of the most popular new phones available for Verizon Cell Phones.

The LG enV Touch - This phone features a great, full HTML web browser, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and touch-screen interface as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. Unfortunately the phone does not carry Wi-Fi and the browser is not always as fluid as one might prefer and the touch-screen is not the best available. These are all small critiques because in the end, this is a remarkable phone with an abundance of features.

The HTC Droid Eris - This phone features a slim design and numerous features and it performs at a good, though not exceptional level. It does however, have a pinch and zoom multi-touch feature. The internal performance can be slower than desirable but is to be expected as it is not the latest of Android OS versions. However it is a nice contrast to the Motorola Droid and the price is unbeatable, making it a staple of Verizon Cell Phones.

The RIM BlackBerry Storm 2 - This device brings more memory, an updated operated system, user interface additions and redone touch screen together for a powerful new look. It also features Wi-Fi, key rollover and some multi-touch capabilities. However, when compared to the competition the touch screen in not as advanced or user friendly, though with its plethora of features, those two things may balance each other out.

The Motorola Droid - This phone feature all the benefits of the Android 2.0 but with a faster web browser, Google Maps Navigation Application as well as improved contact filing and messaging. The overall call quality is improved as is the speed. The QWERTY keyboard is not as advanced as many other devices and the same goes for the music and video capabilities. It unfortunately is not compatible with Bluetooth voice dialing. While there are missing pieces in terms of design and features the overall functionality is excellent and it can rival any other smart phone or Verizon Phone to date.

These are just a few of the popular options to date. There is no black and white, "one is better than the other," when it comes to new cell phone makes. It's simply a matter of what will work best for the customer. Let this be a stepping stone into the next generation of popular cell phones.
