The whole world is becoming like a global village, or so the saying goes, and with this penchant for traveling comes the need to be able to take our necessary luggage wherever we go. Some people find it extremely difficult and uncomfortable to hoist heavy bags around the place so for this reason, clever manufacturers have come up with telescoping hand carts to take the strain. Indeed, even suitcases now come with telescoping handles so that the gadget can be reduced in size to a manageable size to get onto the plane itself. All these new innovations started from the humble wheelie bag which housewives and the elderly found necessary to put their weekly shop in. By being able to tilt and pull, the load was made that much more moveable rather than putting a complete strain on the back by having to lift sacks and bags when shopping for heavy goods. These days, trolleys have really blossomed and now there are different sizes to fit just about any job. Heavier loads dictate that the trolley has four wheels so that they do not have to be balanced anymore and some of the stronger varieties take up to six hundred pounds. These heavier versions of the ubiquitous trolleys have found uses even in industry but they can also be used in the home too. Indeed, garden waste and garbage collection can all be managed on these little beauties and it is just a matter of taking that diseased tree trunk off to the local dump very quickly. Even those who like to go boating or camping can make use of these little gems since, boats in particular, may have to have heavy shopping or sails transported to the dock side. Ladies find this task particularly difficult since they do not usually have the upper body strength of men so anything that lends a helping hand, so to speak, must be more than welcome. Most people love the little wheelie bags when they go shopping but some people, particularly those with back and neck injuries, cannot take the extra effort. Not to be outdone, these clever companies have come up with the four-wheel variety so that someone merely has to push the thing along instead of tilting and pulling it. This is also great for the elderly since they are often a little unsteady on their feet so they can hang on to it until they feel a little surer of themselves. It is obvious then that these little beauties will always be needed around the home or office. Because of the sheer diversity of their design, there should be one or two that will fit in with the needs of the household or company even if they have to be folded down and put away after use. Travelers in particular can get the kind which folds to very small sizes so that they can be carried on as hand luggage, while those with huge bags can have the built-in variety which merely folds into the case itself.
