Disney World is visited by millions of people each year. It is one of the most frequented places in Orlando. It is filled with rides, attractions, special events, and shows that are designed for the enjoyment of kids of all ages. If you're going to Orlando for a family vacation, you have to plan the trip properly so you are able to make the right choices. One of the things that you have to plan for is the budget. This is important so that you won't spend beyond what you can afford. Going on a trip to Disney World can be expensive, especially the food and drinks. Even if you don't notice that you're spending much on food and drinks, if you compute the expenses, you will be surprised to find out how much you've spent at the end of the trip. This is why, you have to plan your meals and strive to eat cheaply so you don't spend much on this particular expense. Here are some tips on how to do just that.

Visit Main Street Bakery

Main Street Bakery is one of the cheapest places to eat within the theme park. Instead of going for the character breakfasts that are very expensive, you can stop by this bakery, where you can buy menu items at very low prices. Some of the items that you can buy here include baked goods, pastries, breakfast quiche, and fresh fruits. Prices range only from $2 to $5 so you can expect to save a lot when you buy food here. Aside from all these, this place also serves cheap lunch and dinner items.

Check out Other Cheap Food Places

Main Street Bakery is not the only place where you can buy food cheaply. One example would be Yakitori House, which is located inside the Japan Pavilion. Meals cost as low as $6 per person. Boulangerie Patisserie, which you can find in the France Pavillion, offers meals that cost only for as low as $5 per person. Located in the Backlot is Toy Story Pizza Planet, which has meals that cost only $5 to $6 per person.

Get Kitchenette Room

Another option you have for eating cheaply in Disney World is getting a kitchenette room at the Disney Orlando Hotel so you can make your own meals. You can buy snack items in bulk then store it in the mini fridge. Cook your meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to save big on the cost. If you are not staying in Disney Hotels, make sure that you choose a hotel that offers free breakfast buffet so that you can eat a big meal in the morning and just eat snacks inside the theme park.

Bring your Own Snacks and Drinks

Saving big bucks on food and drinks is also possible if you bring your own. Bringing your own snacks and drinks will not only save you money but will also save you time. This is because you don't have to fall in line whenever one of you gets hungry.
