Disney World vacations are to offer a great time for all. Imagine this scenario: you and the kids are all set to go to Disney World and experience the magic that everyone is raving about when suddenly the sky darkens and heavy rains start to pour. Right then and there, you see your kids' faces turn sad. What do you do in case bad weather rains on your parade just when you're about to have the time of your life at this world famous theme park? Do you sulk in your hotel room or do you dare to go out into the rain? Orlando hotels may have great amenities, but you don't want to spend your vacation in the hotel! Enjoying the House of Mouse despite bad weather is possible with these practical tips.

• Bring rain gear

Always remember that Florida has occasional rain showers. Don't think that just because you're going during summer does not mean you can do away with a few rains. The fact is, rains happen more frequently during summer than in winter so you had better be prepared and pack up rain gear like umbrellas, hats, and ponchos for your little ones. Being fully equipped with protective gear such as these would enable your kids to enjoy the theme park despite the bad weather.

• Enjoy the indoor attractions

Disney World vacations are not just about outdoor attractions. Yes, the majority of the attractions and rides within the park are located in outdoor settings but you will also find a wide array of indoor attractions that are just as enjoyable. You should make the most out of your stay inside the park by enjoying these equally fabulous covered rides.

• Watch spectacular shows

Like the indoor rides, the spectacular shows are also located indoors. This will enable you to have grand time at Disney World even if you are not able to enjoy the outdoor rides. The shows and events are fabulous and exciting that your kids will surely have a blast.

• Check the weather

If possible, check the weather in advance before you book for the trip. This way, you can be sure that your visit in Disney World will not be clouded with rain showers. A day before the trip, you should also check the weather forecast just to be doubly sure.

• Go shopping

To combat the disappointment of caused by rain, you can always go shopping for souvenirs! The outlets located just outside the park offer all the Disney merchandise you could want for affordable prices.

Disney World vacations do not have to be ruined even if it rains. If it rains during your vacation day, you can always extend your trip to enjoy the park when the weather is sunny. Make sure that you book for Orlando hotels that give free shuttle service to the theme park so that you don't have to worry about transportation, particularly during the rainy days.
