Men's Jewellery- Different Styles for Different Looks

From polished suit to grungy rocker, every man has his own look. Here are a few popular ones and the jewellery that compliments them.

1. The polished man

The polished man is the guy who takes longer to get ready than his girlfriend. He's the one with the perfectly pressed shirts, and the blacks that have never seen lint in their lives. He's got a fabulous navy peacoat that perfectly match the sparkle of his shiny black patent shoes. What jewellery does the polished man wear? Cufflinks for sure and maybe a family pinky ring.

2. The scruffy guy

You know who this guy is, he's the Brad Pitt of your neighbourhood. He's effortlessly gorgeous, and loves the fact that he works at a job that doesn't require him to shave too often or squeeze his feet into anything other than Converse. He wears worked in jeans, a white v-neck, and a big, woolly cardigan, and in the winter probably rocks a floppy tuque. What jewellery does the scruffy guy wear? A mixture of leather and string bracelets and maybe some boho, Buddhist beads around his neck.

3. The jock

Generally speaking jocks are less style conscious and much more practical when it comes to their wardrobe. Their bodies tend to be pretty fit as most of their time is spent playing sports and working out. Knowing this, they feel less of a need to show off with fitted clothes. Instead they wear baggier jeans, sweaters, or hodded jumpers. Their work suits often appear tight but only because their muscles are busting out of them. What jewellery does the jock wear? Not much, maybe a chain around their neck and possibly a championship ring.

4. The punk

Punks tend to wear as much jewellery as their girlfriends (and sometimes as much make-up). It's all part of the rock and roll look. Usually dressed in head-to-toe black, punks like to accessorize their grunge look with thick wristbands, or leather cuffs, silver long wallet chains, lots of rings, and several facial piercings. The more skulls and crossbones, the better.

5. The urban cool dude

The urban cool dude tends to be a nice mix between the scruffy guy and the polished man. Like the scruffy guy he likes his comfortable jeans and his converse, but will usually pair them with a stylish sports jacket and a fancy coat. He is usually clean shaven and well groomed from hair to nails. The urban cool dude keeps it simple with a fabulous watch.
