Can a Beaded Lanyard Help You Look More Professional?

Lanyards have definitely become a much more common office accessory over the past two decades with the beaded lanyard becoming popular over the last five years. They used to only be seen in high security buildings like government offices or at high profile executive headquarters. Today beaded lanyards are everywhere. This is primarily because companies have become much more aware of the security risks that open-access to every area of the building can pose. In most cases, these lanyards act as a badge holder, although people have become aware that they can be used for holding pens, mp3 players, and even the smaller cell phones.

When most people think of a beaded lanyard, there is the possibility that they may assume a decorative piece like this would make them look less professional, but that simply isn't the case. There are a number of sleek, professional ways to wear a badge holder adorned with beads or some other design that will enhance overall appearance. Take a moment to think about what type of lanyards are normally worn. That's right, most companies hand out standard issue rope lanyards, but the ropes look a lot more like shoelaces than anything else. The reason that they are used is simply because, until recently, there wasn't another option. A rope lanyard was considered because it had to be.

Looking professional doesn't necessarily mean looking staid all of the time; rather it means dressing to suit your position or your environment. For example, the Zebra Striped beaded lanyard, an attractive lanyard can easily fit into any executive meeting. The beads are not loud or gaudy; they are all black, gray, or white. The breakaway clasp is strong and made of stainless steel; therefore easy to put. A beaded lanyard also gives you the option to be more relaxed as well. You don't have to worry where your badge is. It's right there for you! It doesn't matter what you want your lanyard to look like, there is a good chance that there is one out there that will fit your needs. You not only get to think about what color you want your lanyard to be; you also get to think about things like materials, size, and textures. The beads can made out of all sorts of materials including glass, plastic, metal, and ceramic/clay. You can even choose what type of texture you want. You might want larger, smooth stones or maybe extremely thin, beads to give you a totally different look and feel.

In short, a beaded lanyard will make you look more professional for a number of reasons. The first reason is that the basic rope lanyard doesn't look professional, as stated previously, it is just considered professional because for a long time there was no other option. The second reason is that a beaded badge holder can actually compliment your outfit, along with other pieces of your jewelry. Finally, you'll be making a fashion statement, which in turn will make you stand out.
