For over eight years now I have run a website that helps people make money online. The most common email I get every day is from people who want to know how to make money. I find this interesting because my website is over 3000 pages in scope now. Why do people email me the question "how do I make money online" when that is what I am providing information on. What I have discovered over the years is most people are frustrated and discouraged as they go online attempting to make money. I have also discovered that when you get right down to it most people have not worked hard enough at trying to make money. The truth is anyone can make money on the Internet. The other reality is making money online is something many people will not do. It does take skills to learn how to use the Internet to earn money. To learn the skills you need average intelligence. Learning how to use the Internet to earn money is not rocket science. However, it does take a focused effort over a period of time. For example, people will buy a new course on how to do auto blogging. Everything is laid out step by step in this course. It includes both video training and text training that you can read. The same thing is true for other forms of training provided online. What usually happens is people start off strong and then give up when the hard work starts. I know this is true because I have personally purchased training courses, ebooks, and reports that are still sitting on my hard drive uncompleted or not read all of the way through. When you think about it this is really sad. There are many great ways to earn money on the Internet so there really is no reason why anyone cannot find something that appeals to them. I do feel the people need to identify their personality traits as to whether they are a worker or an entrepreneur. Workers are people who want to concentrate on doing one thing such as data entry and earning their money that way. Entrepreneurs are people who want to build businesses on the Internet. They are not so much interested in doing things like taking surveys, but rather they're interested in building a virtual empire of websites and products and programs. They might also be focused on building one opportunity into a solid income stream such as an mlm business or affiliate marketing. I think most people should determine more quickly whether they want to work online or build a business. If they would do that they would have more success making money faster and would be willing to stick with it longer.
