Google Adwords does cost money, but it is a very useful tool when promoting a website. When promoting your website, you also want to reach a local audience. One of the best ways to do this is to put an ad in your local newspaper about your website and what your website is about. You can also submit an ad to online local newspapers, which more and more people are beginning to read. If your website is a business website, you should make business cards and hand them out to people you meet. Promoting your site is a component to its success.
