How to Promote Your Sports Club with Personalised Hoodies

The world of gyms and sports clubs are often very competitive, by their own nature. Attracting clients to come to your gym as opposed to the other guys is getting even harder with the rising cost of advertising. A lot of clubs, however, neglect to notice that their best advertising asset is right under their noses: the clients themselves.

Personalised hoodies are an excellent way to go. They make great workout gear, yet are the rare article of workout clothing that works outside the gym as well. Many people, especially those loyal to their sports clubs or gyms, are willing to shell out a bit of cash for something as functional and trendy as a personalised hoodie.

The first thing you're going to need to do is find a manufacturer who can best fit your needs. Here are some questions you might ask yourself:

-Are you going to need a large amount of personalised hoodies up front, or are you going to be ordering many smaller batches on an "as needed" basis? -What material are you looking for your personalised hoodies to be made of? Most are made of 100% cotton, or a 50/50 cotton and polyester blend, but those are far from the only options. Many companies will make personalised hoodies out of wool, polyester, or other wicking fabrics if this is what you decide on. -How will your logo be attached? Most manufacturers will use either a heat-transfer or a silk screening method, others will utilize embroidery. Your logo or slogan's coloration will play a large role in this decision.

To ensure that your personalised hoodies are worn with consistency, you're also going to want to make sure to have a simple, yet fashionable print on the front. Whether it's the logo of your sports club itself, or maybe a catch phrase or slogan your club is known for, it needs to be printed clearly. Many clubs have utilized the popular retro-style sports designs, but you are only limited by your imagination. Just as many clubs have used a clever catch phrase with the sports club's information on the back, or some variation of these two methods.

Once you've selected a manufacturer, a design, and have received your personalised hoodies, the only thing left is how to distribute them. Are you going to give them out as a freebie upon membership? Will you offer them for sale alongside other workout essentials, such as towels and water bottles? Many sports clubs also give away personalised hoodies as incentive for prolonged membership, usually at the six month or one year mark.

Personalised hoodies are an excellent promotional tool, one that many sports clubs (and other businesses) have used to great success. Whether you're offering them for sale to increase your own revenue, or distributing them as part of some form of promotion, you can rest assured that because of the many purposes a hoodie can be used for, your information is being displayed prominently by the wearer.
