Disney World is one of the best places to have your family's vacation. It is filled with interesting attractions, exhilarating rides, and fabulous shows and events. Being massive at 30,500 acres, you can expect that it would take you a while before you can make the most out of what this theme park has to offer. In addition to the time and energy that you need to devote to this vacation, you also have to spend some money since Disney vacations do not come cheap. Here is how you can enjoy a Disney World vacation without having to bust your savings. Formulate an extensive budget plan On a sheet of paper, list down all the things that you need to spend for during the trip. These would include hotel accommodation, transportation within Orlando, gas or airfare going to Orlando, park admission, food and drinks, souvenirs, shopping, and many more. Put a column beside this column of expenses. On the heading put projected expenses. Make a third column and put the heading actual expenses. On the last column, put the heading savings/excess. This is so that you can determine how much you were able to save or exceeded in spending based on your original budget. This will help you keep track of your expenses to ensure that you do not spend more than what you should. Get vacation packages Getting vacation packages will enable you to cut down on expenses because these cost a lot less than if you book for your vacation needs separately. These packages are widely available online. All you have to do is to search for a reputable online travel agency that would give you the kind of package that can be customized according to your needs and preferences. Eat outside the park Food inside Disney World is known for its exorbitant prices. This is why, it would be practical if you can bring your own food and drinks while visiting the park. This would not only let you save money but also help you save time because you do not have to fall in line whenever one of you gets hungry. Choose budget hotel Staying inside the park should not be too expensive if you choose budget Disney Condos or Disney Hotels. You can also choose to stay outside the theme parks like at Orlando Hotels or Kissimmee Vacation Homes. Just make sure that you choose a place that has close proximity to Disney World or has a free shuttle service so you do not have to worry about getting to the park. Limit shopping Limit your shopping while inside the theme park. If you can skip it altogether then that would be great. After all, you do not need all those things to remind you of the wonderful trip that you had in the home of Mickey Mouse. The photographs and memories you have made with the children are more than enough to help you relive what a great trip it had been.
