Regardless of the team, the football shirt is the only really customizable portion of a football team's kit. It represents the team's colors and provides player information for the referees. With the availability of football shirts and the worldwide appeal of the sport, football shirts are a common sight on most streets these days. As long as teams continue to inspire their fans, the football shirt will always be a standard necessity for anyone who supports a specific team. A football shirt is a conversation starter and a silent indication of who the wearer is and what the wearer stands for.
