If you're looking to begin a business, there are a few essentials you need. This list goes through the top seven. Although you don't have to get all at once, the sooner the better. The automated transfer features make VoIP telephones the ideal office phone system for small business and large. 2. Laptop: This is one of the most important parts of your small business. You will use your laptop daily, so it's important to invest in a quality one. You may want to spend additionally if you need video or music editing capabilities, which require expensive, more powerful processors. 3. All-in-One Printer: Faxing, scanning, copying and printing can usually be found in one large office product. If you need serious copying or printing capabilities, however, it may be better to buy a copier individually, or at least know how powerful your machine is, and whether it can meet your challenges. 4. Office Chair: If you work 40 hour weeks, you spend almost 2000 hours annually sitting in your office chair. That leads to some serious indentations. That's why it's important to have a comfortable chair. You want something that has an ergonomic design and an adjustable height for maximum comfort. 5. Desk: A nice desk, or cubicle for your employees, is a must. Because in spite of the name, you just can't work for eight hours a day with a laptop on your lap. 6. Camera: Taking pictures isn't just for vacation anymore; it's important to update your social media with new photos and video to attract viewers to your page and boost your marketing campaign. Flickr, Facebook, and Youtube are all powerful tools for attracting new customers and increasing your internet presence. Your average point and shoot with video recording capabilities can help. 7. Whiteboard: You will have meetings. You will brainstorm. And you will need to draw pictures. For this, there is one item that can meet your needs: the whiteboard (don't forget erasable markers). These are just the basic seven products you need to get your business started. Once you have these bases covered, you will realize that you also need more minor items, like post-it notes and pens. But if you invest in these big ones, even if your company grows exponentially, you won't have to worry about keeping up with the Joneses, and you will have these goodies for years to come.
