It may be necessary to call out an emergency company at this stage and this could prove to be quite expensive. However, by setting up a good relationship with a local company, they would be more inclined to come out at short notice to people that they know beforehand. In winter too there could be problems so it may be advisable to get some expert advice before the cold weather sets in. Having pipes lagged and having any tanks covered in may be the best thing to do particularly when the area is prone to cold snaps. Check out that they have all the qualifications too to ensure that any work done is up to the industry standards and also make sure that they are equipped to take away any debris once the job is finished.
