The more traffic you get to your website, the more sales you will make. Online entrepreneurs know this, and we all need to become experts at generating massive traffic in order to become successful. The more visitors to your site, the more chance of you making a sale or getting an opt in. Think of it this way, if your site converts at one percent, a hundred visitors will give you one sale, whereas 5000 visitors will give you fifty sales. There are three great proven methods for building up unstoppable traffic to your website. They are Search Engine Optimization, Viral Marketing and Pay Per Click. Here is a brief overview of each. The most important way to get traffic from the search engines, involves doing some thorough keyword research first. There are a lot of free keyword tools on the Internet for you to use to achieve this, just Google 'free keyword tools.' Aim to find keywords that have a search of over 1000 and low competition. Once you have set up your website and optimized it for your chosen keywords at a 3 - 6 % density, you then need to start building back links. You can do this by blogging, leaving comments with your link on other relevant sites, using RSS feeds and doing article writing. Viral marketing is a great form of generating traffic as you do the work once, and your traffic will grow over time. You will need to write a report containing valuable content, and then hand it out for free. First set up a squeeze page so that you can build your list in exchange for handing out your report. Let other marketers promote your report for you, and let others give it away, and in this you your list will grow, and with it your profits. Pay Per Click or PPC advertising is another great method for generating traffic, but there is a learning curve to doing this, so start off small or you could lose a lot of money. With pay per click, you only pay if somebody clicks on your advert, so you will need to develop a keyword rich relevant advert and a relevant landing page so that people that do click on the ad convert into paying customers. By using all the methods above, you will soon see a great improvement in the traffic coming to visit your website.
