Top 10 Cities to Visit Before You Die: Cheap Flights to Israel, Europe and More

Everyone wants to be well traveled. There are certain cities that provide culture, art, and experience. Here's a list of the top ten cities to visit before you die.

1. New York: Still arguably the cultural capital of the world, this city isn't the most exotic, but it sure is one of the craziest. It doesn't sleep and is the most ethnically diverse place in the world. Not to mention a world renowned collection of art, theatre, and music, and you've got the measuring stick by which to discuss other cities, as well as a great place to visit.

2. Paris: Talk about a rich history. The architecture of this city alone is worth the trip. Then you can make your way to the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay and the Moulin Rouge and say that you've seen the Paris they show in the movies.

3. London: The sights to see are just a tad of it. British culture made this great city the center of the world in the 18th and 19th centuries. Europe airline tickets are heavily discounted during the winter and early spring. Check it out for yourself.

4. Rome: Speaking of centers of the world, this Ancient city is gorgeous. And the food in the surrounding areas is unparalleled.

5. Moscow: Napoleon couldn't take it, but you can. The wide boulevards of this Asiatic capital were modeled by Stalin after Paris'. A world apart from the rest of Europe, Russia's capital is full of history, culture and beautiful women.

6. Shanghai: Enough of the European cities, this megalopolis is waiting to be the next epicenter of culture and play. A lot like New York in nature, Shanghai can easily be called it's eastern sister city.

7. Buenos Aires: Full of charisma and charm, the Paris of the Southern hemisphere embraces leather, tango, and wine like nowhere else on earth. The steak alone makes it worth a visit.

8. Sydney: Clean, friendly and warm, this city is a great place to visit or live. The beaches are an added bonus.

9. Jerusalem: You can find cheap flights to Israel pretty easily if you look hard enough. Once you get there, this city has tons of history and culture to admire. A holy city for Jews, Muslims and Christians, it is definitely worth seeing before you die.

10. Tokyo: The last place on our list is the world largest metropolis, with 34 million people. While it may seem like just another big city, you will notice a distinctly Japanese air about it - that means attention is paid to everything - from how your sushi is cut to the detailed architecture of kabuki theaters.

There you have it world traveler! If you've seen these ten cities, you can officially call yourself well traveled. Not that this is a definitive list, but it certainly includes ten of the world's most talked about urban areas.
