A blog is useless without viewers, an audience, and readers. Whether you are just merely sharing your thoughts, ideas, and other information, or selling products and generating income through ads, you have to create traffic in order to make your blog popular or achieve your goals. This means inviting as many people as possible to visit your blog. Ongoing traffic to your blog is what will help you to earn a income, get noticed, and get recognized. Therefore, here are some tips on how to market your blogs.

- Write interesting and quality content that will capture your audience and encourage them to follow your topics and updates and keep them as your regular readers.

- Have your blogs search engine optimized to let people easily land on your page when they search online. Write keyword rich content to land on top pages of search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Msn.

- Make your blog site attractive. Presentation is very important, as most people are visual. If what they see is pleasing to their eyes, they usually keep coming back.

- Promote it through social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Your followers, especially your friends will surely check it out and spread the word. You may also set up a fan page or a Facebook group to expand your network or even make a video on Youtube to market your blog.

- Interview interesting people that will generate traffic into your site.

- Start an interesting topic in which your readers may comment or even argue making them instant followers of your blog. Let people discuss ideas or submit their own articles on your blog site.

- Be prompt in answering questions, feedbacks, and suggestions from your readers. In short, be interactive to encourage their participation.

- Write about the latest news and topics. People want to be updated with everything.

- Have a contest. This will encourage people to follow up on your site and keep coming back. It may also be a fun activity that will develop a community of followers on your blog site.

- Interact with other bloggers. Join blogger communities, forums, and discussions, get new ideas, and invite them to your site too.

- You may also spread the word through your email and have email signatures. This will inform everyone on your address book about your existing blog site.

- Comment on other blogs. Create links to your site and always update your blogs.

With today's technology, marketing online is becoming as easy as one, two, three. In just one click of the mouse, you can get a lot of things done. Promoting your blogs can be very easy as there are a lot of venues online where you can provide links to your site and make people know about it. You just need a little patience, creativity, and hard work in maintaining your blog sites.
