How to Enjoy Florida Living: Luxury Condos Florida and More

Moving to Florida has probably crossed everyone's mind at some point in time. Who wouldn't want to feel like they're on vacation every day? Whether you're looking to retire or just sick of snow storms, consider the many benefits, and a few minor cons, of moving to sunny Florida.

Probably the number one reason anyone would move to Florida is for the gorgeous weather - it is called the Sunshine State for good reason! Of course you have to be prepared to deal with heat and humidity. Unfortunately, it's not a dry heat like Arizona or Nevada. For many, it's a small price to pay to finally be rid of winter jackets. You will have to deal with hurricanes too. No matter where you live, natural disasters will strike. The Midwest gets tornadoes, the West coast deals with earthquakes, and the East coast has the pleasure of torrential rain. It doesn't matter if you have a Florida beachfront condo or live in the middle of the state, always be prepared for bad weather.

If sunny weather isn't reason enough, how about a low cost of living? That doesn't mean you can buy a mansion on the beach for practically nothing. Like every other state, you have more expensive metropolitan homes, beachfront property, and communities in rural areas. Compared to New York and California, Florida is very moderately priced. You'll get a lot more bang for your buck on a luxury Florida condo than a New York one. Save more money with a low sales tax of only 6% and there is also no personal income tax.

Every beach lover can rejoice at the thought of 1,200 miles of sandy coastline. Florida has some of the top rated beaches in the country. Enjoy warm water year round and high surf on the Atlantic coast. Plentiful beaches provide numerous activities to keep you occupied, such as windsurfing, scuba diving, and jet skiing. Boaters are always welcome and fishing is highly encouraged. If you prefer to stay on land, visit one of the 1,250 golf courses -the most of any state.

No child will resist the allure of Disney World. After you've ridden Space Mountain for the 100th time, spend some time in one of Florida's museums, catch a football game, visit the ballet or go watch a shuttle launch at NASA. Florida is a diverse state, offering a lot cultural amenities. There are endless adventures to be had, for both adults and kids. Even if you live out in the sticks, there's always a major city nearby. Cars are a necessity though in this vast state. Even if you live in a major city, the public transportation system cannot compare to New York City.

Once you've realized how wonderful it can be living in new Florida condos, your next big decision is what part of this great state do you want to live in? Research the different counties and find which one best suits your needs and fits your price range. A beautiful, sunny home is only one small decision away.
