There is a lot of debate as to what is the best online marketing strategy plan available out there. The truth is, there are many methods to market a business online, and a lot of them work. Because of this, there is a lot of debate as to which is best. If truth be told, it is not the strategy that is important, rather it is the person using the strategy. The best online marketer could find a way to make money with the worst strategy. On the other hand, somebody else could be handed the best strategy in the world, and still not become profitable. There are a couple reasons that so many online marketers fail. Here are two of the most important ones: #1) They pick a topic they are not passionate about If you want to be successful online, the best strategy is to choose a niche you love and get to know it inside and out. Many people do the opposite and base the niche they choose solely on the amount of competition. They end up basing their decision more on the keywords and competition than their actual interest in the niche. That is not to say that these things are less important. However, you really need to have an interest in something to really make money with it. #2) They do not focus on providing value You are compensated in direct proportion to how much value you provide. The more you help others, the more money you will make. Most people simply look for the best get rich quick method there is. They forget that a business is about helping people. This point is actually indirectly related to the first. When you stick with niches you know and love, you can provide more value to somebody than if you were to go into topics you do not like. People can sense your passion for the topic, and will be more inclined to pay you for your advice if they can tell you are an expert. The bottom line is, when you focus on providing value within niches you love, you can make money regardless of the strategy you use. In reality, there are many great ways to become profitable online. Whether you choose Google Adsense, affiliate marketing, network marketing, or selling on eBay, as long as you remember the above two points, you will become successful. It is not about the online marketing strategy plan, it is about your love and passion for the niche you are in.
