There are some sure shot signs of pregnancy with which a woman can determine that she is pregnant and stat taking good care of herself and the baby as well.
The most popularly known sign of pregnancy is morning sickness. It may be vomiting or nausea. This is caused by the change in hormones in the body. It so happens that the vomiting also bring severe headache. It is very taxing to get up all the time. This symptom alerts most of the women that there is a possibility of pregnancy. This phase does not last long. It would stay for the first month of the trimester. The body will take some time to adjust to the rapid changes. Once settled, the nausea would be so prominent. For some other women, there will be light spotting seen. This is another subtle sign of pregnancy. This spotting may be pink or brown in color. There are some women who don't experience either of the signs, nor the morning sickness or the spotting. One other sure shot sign of pregnancy is missing a period which all the women will go through for sure. For the women who have regular menstrual cycle, it is noticeable immediately. For the women who do not have regular cycle or have irregular cycle, it may be a bit tough to determine early. If the woman is leading an active sex life and notices a missed period, it is strongly recommended to get a home pregnancy kit and check for herself.
In some pregnant woman, there is a hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, which is produced which leads to frequent urination causing contraction of the uterus. This can be controlled if the woman exercises or walks around a bit to work out her muscles. Another symptom may be constipation, which is caused because of the pressure on the intestines. As the uterus is located nearer to the intestines, any transformation in the uterus affects the intestines as well. Most of the women will also face the problem of fatigue. At the very start of the day itself, a woman feels she is drained of all her energy. This is also due to hormonal changes in the body. Once the hormonal changes stabilize, the body adapts it easily.
