Plus, the non-legitimate businesses don't have to have good customer service because they will only be in business long enough to rip a few hundred or thousand people off and then they will disappear. Take time to contact each business by email and the phone more than one time. If you get an answer every time and if they are friendly and helpful, then you can feel confident that they are legit. Another important thing to be aware of is that you might get lucky to get an answer one time, but after that, you will not ever hear from them again. 3. Good reputation - The business's reputation will provide you with a lot of good information about whether they are legitimate or not. The businesses that have a good reputation on the internet with the BBB and customers will be legit. The ones that you want to avoid are the businesses with a lot of negative reviews or customers and especially if they have a bad reputation with the BBB. 4. Good reviews - Reviews will tell you a lot about a business's legitimacy because people write reviews to let others know about a good business or to warn people to stay away from one. Take time to read more than one review, so you can get a clear picture of any particular company. These are the things that you have to keep your eyes open for that will tell you when a legitimate home business has been found. Now that you are aware of what to watch for, you will find that it is much easier for you to find a legitimate home business that is right for you and you can feel confident that you won't become a victim of a scam.
