Shopping for the right copy machines is no different than shopping for anything: the more informed you are on the subject, the better your final decision is likely to be. If you went into a computer store and didn't know a gosh-darn thing about computers, you'd be just as likely to walk out with a six-pack of office shredders as you would be to walk out with a top-of-the-line Mac Book Pro. Education is key, and an informed client often makes the best decisions. This is as true with copy machines as it is with any other consumer materials. While there are still quite a few effective office equipment supplier stores that provide both copy machine leasing and copy machine buying, most experts would recommend you do your office copiers shopping online. The advantages to shopping online over going to a single retail store have been discussed at great length in a plethora of different medias, so we won't feel it necessary to rehash those here. That being said, searching for copy machines online is guaranteed to not just save you time, but money as well. The next thing you will have to figure out, once you've decided which office equipment supplier is the right one for you, is to decide what features the copy machines you'll be purchasing must have. To do this, a helpful strategy is to make a list of all the things you or your office will require of the device, and then make an informed decision about which of the copy machines are right for you using that information as a guideline. There are plenty of things to consider while you're putting that list of guidelines together. For example: Do you need black-and-white or color copiers? If the materials you intend to be copying are for public presentations or anything that may include graphs or photos in any way, a color copier might be something your office will require. That being said, color copiers are a tad bit more expensive, so if "cheap" is higher than "color" on your list of priorities, it may be better to just stick with traditional black-and-white copy machines. How busy is your office? If you already know that dozens of people are going to be lining up to use the copy machine, it may be worth looking at some of the faster models. Spending the extra dough might bother you in the short term, but after all time is money, and time spent waiting around for the copy machine to finish a load can be just as cost-ineffective as throwing your copy machine out the window. How long will you need it? Buying is always great, but if you don't see your company needing the machine in a few months, copy machine leasing might be the more effective, and financiallu intelligent, decision to make.
