Nearly every writer of articles will have them - days when you know you really need to write, and for the very life of you, you simply can't produce any commitment for the project at all.

I have certainly seen enough of these sorts of days, and I've definitely realised that to stop writing when you just don't feel like it is one of the very worst things you can do. Procrastination is the devil for all writers and it makes you get behind your creatIve schedule, which certainly affects your article submission schedule, which ultimately affects the marketing of your website, which ultimately impacts on your brand. Then, that creates more and more pressure to write, which makes writing more articles even more difficult than you imagined. If you are used to writing during the day, try some night writing. Or try waking up very early in the morning while the house is still quiet, brew yourself cup of coffee, and then sit down at your computer to write. Most people find it easiest to write in a quiet environment, so writing during "off hours" (when people in your house are at school or sleeping) can really help. 3 You should reward yourself. You can make this as complex as you would like: *You could easily say yourself that when you've written two articles (or you've written for a couple of hours) that you can go out to the coffee shop and treat yourself to a large cappuccino. *Or if you are up for it go hard core tell yourself that if you can really write for a minimum of 5 hours then you can go out to the movies or dinner one night this week. When you cannot face sitting down to write your next article, your mind is usually hyper-focused on the job you really do not want to do. What you need to do is get your mind to focus on a really pleasant thing that you are able do after you have finished your article. This will really help move you away from the mental mire that is stopping you creating. You are quite right, these really are unusual tips, but they really do work for me, and I am confident they will work for you. Finally, my top tip for you definitely do not wait for motivation. Find a way to start doing what you need to do, and then the motivation will certainly follow.
