Engineering jobs are one of the most exciting jobs on earth. On the part of the companies, they're always interested to strike lower deals to get their projects done that aren't usually true when dealing with large engineering firms. And to get things done, companies usually post their needs as ads in papers or in online internet forums and the type of freelancers that they are looking forward to work with. Although this type of arrangement will only breed competition among freelancers, but as always, freelance engineers are a tough breed and they've always been in this way outwitting other freelancers and big firms. Freelancing is not always a sweet and dream job for everyone. The fact that you have to deal with a cutthroat competition is already an enough deterrent for the many. Additionally, large corporations pay a handsome salary just to keep their engineers at bay. On top of that, projects just don't fall on the lap but instead you have to get them by yourself.
